Magnolias and Republic Salon, both in the building at 312 East Broad Street, are closed, and both plan to reopen once repairs are made. Historic Athens' Tommy Valentine said Magnolias' owners told him:

“We will rebuild and reopen. There is a lot of work ahead, but we are determined to see it through.”
