- ➤ The Clarke County School District is expanding its use of the PEACH Education Tax Credit to support two projects—outfitting a dental clinic at Clarke Middle Health Center and boosting early literacy through its Culture of Literacy campaign. Donors can now apply to help public school programs and receive a state income tax credit if their donation is made within 60 days of application approval. The Red & Black
- ➤ Clarke County School District will hold two public presentations on December 2 at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the Vernon Payne Meeting Hall at 595 Prince Ave to share updated plans to preserve and restore West Broad School, a historic center for Black education. The district revised its plan after community groups opposed demolishing the complex — the presentations will be livestreamed and questions can be emailed in advance. The Red & Black

- ➤ Georgia men’s basketball held on for a 78–77 win over Xavier on Friday night in Charleston when junior guard Marcus 'Smurf' Millender made a go-ahead 3–pointer with 9.9 seconds left, and the Bulldogs improved to 6–0 after a double-digit halftime lead slipped away. - ➤ Georgia football freshman Bo Walker scored three rushing touchdowns in a 35-3 win over Charlotte on Saturday—his first big career moment that impressed coach Kirby Smart and teammate Nate Frazier.
