Georgia fans follow eight teams battling in Rocco's Jello Shot Challenge during the College World Series at Rocco's Pizza and Cantina (1302 Mike Fahey St). The red, white and blue shots celebrate America’s 250th birthday, and unofficial odds rank Georgia fourth behind West Virginia, Ole Miss and Alabama.
Athens will host multiple events this weekend, including the Hot Corner Festival (Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) downtown with live music and food, the Miss Juneteenth Pageant (Sunday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) at Morton Theatre, and markets at local spots.
