- ➤ On Oct. 19, dozens of costumed dogs paraded through Athens' historic Boulevard neighborhood during Boo-le-Bark on the Boulevard with live music from Historic Athens' Porchfest. The parade began at Barber Street and Boulevard, turned onto Lyndon, Dubose, and Grady Avenues — the theme was 'Keepin’ It Classic' — and ended at Boulevard. The Red & Black
- ➤ Athens families can enjoy a week of Halloween events from Oct 24 to Oct 31 that include trunk-or-treat, trick-or-treat and spooky activities at local venues like The Village at Malcom Bridge, Lou Sobh Volkswagen, Heard Park, and Athens-Clarke County Library. - ➤ For 25 years, Casa de Amistad has served Athens’ Hispanic and Latino communities with free ESL, Spanish, and GED classes that help residents learn English and connect.
