Police in Athens are investigating a rape case after a 22 yr old woman reported being assaulted in her apartment late Friday night and additional charges including aggravated assault, aggravated sodomy and felony theft are under review—authorities said the 18 yr old suspect, a friend of a friend who drove her home from local bars, had previously been arrested in Barrow County for DUI and cocaine possession.
