- ➤ Jonathan Mandell Mapp, 40, of Jennings Mill Parkway, overdosed on fentanyl while driving at the intersection of Atlanta and Monroe highways and was revived by emergency responders before he was arrested, booked on DUI and suspended license charges, and denied bail for violating probation. - ➤ A police officer on North Avenue checked tags at the Apex convenience store at about 10 p.m. on August 4th and arrested Treshun Rashaad Edwards of Smokey Road after noticing a license plate mismatch on a Chrysler 300 sedan registered to a Ford Edge SUV—Edwards was later found hiding in a bathroom at a Hallmark Estates home where a search revealed a large amount of methamphetamine and opioid pills, and he now faces charges including drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, felony fleeing and eluding police, and motor vehicle violations.
