ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Aug. 11, two UGA students sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle t-bone collision at the corner of Oconee and Williams Street. Sam Puckett had emergency surgery for brain bleeds, a skull fracture and neck abrasions, while Andrew Hoffman underwent surgeries for abdominal injuries and pelvic fractures—he also withdrew from classes for the fall semester. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Randy Lamar Mitchell, 38, was indicted after he allegedly beat Samantha Ryan with a bat and golf club at a home on Smokey Road on May 25th—he now faces two counts each of aggravated assault and aggravated battery and is in pretrial detention awaiting arraignment on Oct 14th. Classic City News
