- ➤ The University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved a $3.87 billion operating budget that includes $11.9 million to start up a new UGA medical school and $34.5 million for the fourth phase of campus upgrades at Science and Ag Hill in Athens—funds that will support enrollment growth and enhanced facilities starting next July.
