- ➤ A judge ordered a mental health evaluation for Cedric Smith, a 34-year-old homeless man facing charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and knife possession after he attacked social worker Chris Sullens at the Day Service Center on North Avenue last summer—Sullens lost one eye and was flown to a hospital in Atlanta for treatment.
