- ➤ A homeless woman, identified as 33-year-old Brittani Clark, was arrested on a first-degree burglary charge after entering a UGA student’s apartment at Woodlands of Athens on Barnett Shoals Road on June 7th—she took eggs, jam, and Hawaiian rolls as the student called police after hearing noise downstairs. - ➤ The Athens Juneteenth Music and Art Festival celebrated Black history on June 19 in downtown Athens—transforming College Avenue and Washington Street into a lively venue for music, art and storytelling.
