- ➤ AthFest, a free three-day arts festival celebrating local musicians & visual artists, will take place in downtown Athens from June 20 to June 22. - ➤ A study from UGA shows that teens with less sleep have lower brain connectivity—this can affect decision-making and emotion control. Researchers tracked over 2,800 adolescents with Fitbits and found that boys and minority children are especially at risk, suggesting improved sleep habits may help prevent behavior problems. - ➤ A new UGA study found that giving certified nursing assistants chances to advance in their jobs may lower burnout and help keep them on the job.
