Athens celebrated the 26th annual Hot Corner Festival on Saturday, June 13 with vendors (including food carts and pop-up shops), performances, and speakers highlighting local Black businesses and culture in downtown Athens.

Attendees filled the streets and supported community entrepreneurs.

Georgia baseball, playing in the College World Series for the first time since 2008 — fresh off a 7-1 win over Texas — will face Oklahoma Monday, June 15 at 7 p.m. ET at Charles Schwab Field.

Georgia baseball pitcher Caden Aoki, a USC transfer, helped his College World Series team with a 6-inning relief outing at Ole Miss on April 26 and six starts since.

The Georgia women's track and field team repeated as NCAA champions by earning 50 points at Hayward Field in Eugene on Saturday, June 13.

They kept the title in the Classic City after winning last year.
