- ➤ A 35-year-old emergency room nurse was arrested on May 17 after his partner called 911 at 5:30 a.m. to report that he pushed her down a flight of stairs during an argument at their home, and police later found hospital drugs in his pickup on Tallassee Road, charging him with DUI of multiple substances, possession of controlled and prescription drugs, and battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act.
