EDUCATION NEWS

  • University of Georgia’s School of Nursing will be renamed the Victoria Kay Ivester School of Nursing to honor a long-time supporter after a private ceremony on April 17 — the change comes with a $20.5 million endowment to boost nursing education.  WUGA
  • The Minority Student Science Association partnered with UGA AMSA on Thursday to offer CPR and basic life support training in Athens, giving UGA students and local community members affordable certification and hands-on practice with dummies and AED devices.  The Red & Black
