- ➤ Advantage Behavioral Health Systems employee Melinda Robertson was attacked at the Crisis Center Stabilization Unit on Mitchell Bridge Road around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when Devin Jackson grabbed her by the throat, slammed her to the floor, choked her until she passed out, and then attacked a security guard before police arrested him for aggravated assault and battery. - ➤ In Athens, grocery prices have risen sharply as residents and small businesses face a 31.8% increase in costs for meat, poultry, fish and eggs since 2019.
