- ➤ New data from StorageCafe using U.S. Census figures shows that in 2023, Georgia counties gained residents with Chatham County leading with 7,500 move-ins and Athens reporting over two-thirds of newcomers as Gen Z, while suburban counties saw high homeownership rates with many buyers purchasing homes soon after moving. - ➤ Georgia residents have reported hummingbird sightings as the birds begin their northbound migration on March 9, with observations noted in cities including Brunswick, Fayetteville, and Statesboro.
