- ➤ Historic Athens Welcome Center opened its Women’s History Month exhibit 'The Women Who Changed Athens' on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring stories of local women from fields like journalism and medicine; the exhibit remains open for public viewing throughout March. The Red & Black
