- ➤ Lauren Riley addressed a crowd at UGA campus on Saturday, Feb. 21 to honor her sister Laken Riley, a nursing student killed while running (the event marked the anniversary of her death). FOX 5 Atlanta
- ➤ The Run For Your Life 5K and memorial service honoring Laken Riley was held on Saturday, Feb. 21 at the University of Georgia in Athens. - ➤ The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Samford Bulldogs 11-1 at Foley Field on Friday, Feb. 20, with strong pitching and teamwork that energized the crowd. The Red & Black
- ➤ Georgia basketball's Justin Abson provided a key boost off the bench in a 91-80 win over Texas on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Stegeman Coliseum. The 6-foot-9 center played nearly six minutes and made clutch plays that helped his team secure the victory. Athens Banner-Herald
