- ➤ Clarke County School District announced Olivia Bergman from Clarke Central and Christopher Koch from Cedar Shoals as its STAR students for 2025-2026. They will be honored at a luncheon on Monday, Feb. 23, where each names a teacher who helped shape their academic journey (part of the STAR program). The Red & Black
- ➤ The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business Full-Time MBA program has been ranked 10th among U.S. public business schools (60th worldwide) in the 2026 Global MBA rankings by the Financial Times. Director Jason Matthews credited the program’s strong return on investment. WUGA

- ➤ Athens-Clarke County officials are reviewing whether to reclaim over $6 million in federal funds from four groups that missed spending deadlines — a decision expected in March, with nearly 70% of the $58 million already spent on programs like affordable housing and youth development. WUGA
