- ➤ Local author Alison Lyn Miller released her nonfiction book Rough House (A Father, A Son, And the Pursuit of Pro Wrestling Glory) on Feb. 14, which examines Northeast Georgia's professional wrestling circuit blending sport and theatre. She discussed her work with WUGA’s Emma Auer. WUGA
- ➤ Candid photos of John Lennon taken in the early 1970s will be on display at Winterville Cultural Center from Feb. 20 to 22 — the exhibit shows the intimate side of the iconic musician as revealed in May Pang’s 2022 documentary interview with WUGA’s Emma Auer. WUGA

- ➤ Lillie Brooks announced her bid for District 7 on the Clarke County School Board on Feb. 14 + she said she would work to improve chronic absenteeism and support students with dyslexia.
