About this event
Located on UGA’s campus, this free-to-enter museum lets families explore everything from classic works to rotating exhibits at their own pace. Stop by the lobby desk to check out a Backpack Tour, an interactive experience that includes everything you need for a fun, guided gallery visit. Each backpack comes with activity cards, touring tips, and a set of supplies you can use in any gallery for a hands-on art adventure! Because the tours are self-guided, visitors can take as long as they want at each stop and even return to finish the tour another time.
While tickets to the museum are free, I do recommend you reserve your tickets ahead of time on the website. Check in at the lobby desk when you arrive.
Parking:
• Accessible parking is available directly beneath the museum.
• Paid parking is available Monday through Friday in the Performing Arts Center deck, subject to availability. You must pay at the meters on the ground floor of the deck, near the elevators, and you must know your license plate number to do so. Please note that cash is not accepted.
• Parking is free in the decks and in all surface lots on Saturdays and Sundays. You may park in any surface lot after 6 p.m. on weekdays. For parking maps and prices, visit the University of Georgia’s parking services website for visitors.
