Tyler Ramsey brings his blend of indie folk and rock, distinctive fingerstyle guitar, and thoughtful songwriting to David’s 105 Listening Room on Wednesday, November 4.
Based outside Asheville, North Carolina, Ramsey developed his sound in the mountains of Western North Carolina drawing from regional folk and country blues. Those roots have remained part of his music throughout a solo career spanning more than two decades.
Many listeners first came to know Ramsey as the lead guitarist and a songwriter for Band of Horses. During his decade with the band, he contributed to three studio albums including the GRAMMY-nominated Infinite Arms while continuing to build his own solo career.
His 2024 album, New Lost Ages , was recorded with producer Phil Ek whose credits include Fleet Foxes, The Shins, and Built to Spill. More recently, Ramsey teamed up with My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel for the 2026 acoustic collaboration Celestun .
Starting the evening off at 7:30 is Athens-based singer-songwriter Blackwater Still performing a solo acoustic set of original music.
Join us November 4 to hear Tyler Ramsey w/ Blackwater Still in our intimate, seated listening room in Downtown Monroe.
Doors open at 7. Show starts at 7;30.
