About this event

The Athens nonprofit The Cottage will host a joyous dance party on Sunday, November 8, at 4 PM at the VFW on Sunset Drive in Athens. Zumba is Latin-inspired dancing without a partner that’s easy to follow and infectiously fun. Popular instructors Lora Smothers, Carmen Matheny, Anie Hansen, Cora Keber, Elaine Pappas, and Jean Arias have signed on to lead the dancing. Comfortable workout wear and athletic shoes are recommended. Dinner and treats (including plant-based options) are available for purchase from 4:45 onward while supplies last, and drinks can be purchased at the bar all afternoon.
